Like many other people nervously anticipating Len Wiseman’s debut as DH4 director, I could only hope that he could live up to, at the least, Die Hard 2. But he has done a wonderful job with McClane, that lives up to the previous trilogy. In fact, I’d despicable LFoDH unprejudiced tedious the first Die Hard movie. No one can top Alan Rickman! The exiguous touches, e.g. Gennero/McClane, Agent Johnson, helicopter flying, are subtle, but add greatly to the movie.

There were a few things missing from the theatrical release, of course. Most noticeably, the lack of swearing, McClane’s trademark yippee-kai-yay being truncated. The violence was all there, but it fair wasn’t intense enough. Awe not fans! The unrated version fixes all of that! It’s wonderful, McClane is befriend in all of his mf-in’ glory!

I was hoping for some more dialogue from Timothy Olyphant in the unrated version, but unfortunately, he is mild a bit one-dimensional. Run-times of the unrated vs. the theatrical are about the same, surprising considering that the unrated does add extra scenes.

What the unrated version includes:

Many more f-words and MF-ers.

- Extra dialogue between McClane and his captain, Clevino.

- Longer opening intro scene to Matt Long typing to the warlock,

listening to rock music.

- Extra banter when McClane and Matt first meet.

- More intro shots at the FBI assure center.

- Shot of the National Transportation Center losing control of their

traffic grid.

- More shots of fallacious anthrax anxiety evacuation.

- Thomas Gabriel’s hodgepodge of video of Nixon/Bush/Clinton speaking is

longer.

- Blood spurts!!! More gore, though not significantly more.

- More McClane-isms. When John is driving the police car in the tunnel

towards the helicopter, Rand shoots the engine, which lights on fire.

McClane quips, “Well the car’s on fire, that can’t be qualified.”

- When Matt runs to his side after McClane destroys the helicopter,

McClane adds, “100,000 people are killed every year by cars. What’s

another 4? ”

- Speedily shot of listless guards in power plant.

- When Mai dies in the elevator explosion, McClane screams a profanity

laced tirade at her.

- McClane flying (and landing!) helicopter scene considerable longer.

- The guy getting crushed in the giant blades scene doesn’t have worthy

more blood.

- Yippee-kay-yay mf-er is said in tubby!

I’m a gigantic Die Hard fan as are most warm-blooded males, and my biggest terror was that this would impartial be another novel actioner with John McClane in it, but not a DH movie per-se. Well, thankfully, those fears couldn’t have been more groundless. This is definitely a DH movie, and what’s more is it’s the best action movie I’ve seen in a long time (which any DH movie worth making should be) . Bruce Willis is truly the greatest action hero stunning grand ever, and he reminded me of that constantly during this film. Now, some of the action is comical to say the least (the F-25 jet versus truck scene instantly comes to mind), but the movie never takes itself too seriously, and everything is well staged and executed. The PG-13 rating makes puny contrast, and I honestly can’t gain they got away with it cuz this is one hard-hitting action thriller. Trust me, nice and violent even by DH standards. Also,I honestly wouldn’t have minded a small more of McClane’s signature overuse of the F-bomb, but there are some astronomical lines and it’s not exactly profanity-lite. Either contrivance, this is a proper summer movie and a accurate Die Hard movie! So if you like both of those things and aren’t looking for depth and realism, but objective a damn profitable time at the movies, then this is your note. Of all of the sequels and blockbusters this summer worth mentioning or seeing (or lack thereof), I can honestly say that Yippee-Ki-Yay is the blueprint!

I watched Sailor Moon S, the movie and I contemplate it’s a resplendent expression of how strong esteem and friendship can really be. The situation is quite understandable, even to those that are young, and I really don’t agree with previous reviews that say that this movie isn’t good for small kids… that’s rediculous… the so called “nudity” is very very obscure and a puny child wouldn’t even believe of it… I sincerely do not know why some people gain such a scream deal over nothing. Eitherway, Luna’s cramped romantic escapade is shaded at times, but it will warm your hearts… and of course, who could forget Haruka, Michiru and Setsuna, the Outer Soldiers… they’re the best and they unintentionally grasp the expose at every appearance. This is one movie worth buying for all you Otakus out there.

I have the dubbed and the sub, and objective to originate things easy, I’ll seperate the terrible, the noble, and the treats into three parts:

The BAD: Uranus’s attack phrase was so garbled that there’s no possible procedure you can hear it for the first time. Neptune was OK, but as previous viewers say, it should have been a bit more feminine. And yes, the yelp of Pluto in the DiC series should have been in the movie, but out of all the phrases of the three, she’s the only one who yells it out definite. Oh well, let’s pray the dub of Spruce S turns out better. And did anyone else find tempted into calling “Sailor Mini Moon”/ Rini “Mini Me” from Austin Powers? And did anyone else want to fast-forward the section when Sailor Moon gets preachy about the significance of life? Another thing to beware is that there’s no background music during the battle scenes in order to accomplish the final showdown more dramatic(Like “The Power Of Admire” in the R-movie) . As a final label, I don’t know what’s worse: the fact that the Snow Dancers aren’t that scary or the fact that they holler and “yi-yi-yi-yi” like Xena on the WB network.

The GOOD: We actually catch a first witness on the dub’s version of Rini’s transformation and Sailor Moon’s heart scepter attack before the exhaust of the Holy Grail(”Moon Spiral Heart Attack”) and after(”Rainbow Moon Heartache Reform”) . At least Pioneer knows what to leave in. Plus, it’s nice to notice the transformations and the attacks of the Outer Sailor Scouts. As a final touch, you obtain to witness what Luna looks like when she turns into a human being.=)

The TREATS: Advantages to buying the movie? It teaches the lesson that if you treasure someone enough, you know when to let them go. And you’ll probably feel sorry or report for Luna when she realizes she can’t savor the astronomer because she’s a cat and not a human being, and you’ll realize how precious esteem is when you explore Artemis back Luna even though she ignores him, and how he becomes crushed when she doesn’t realize that he loves he for the contrivance she is. Moral: if not too preachy, it’s that treasure is unconditional, and once we lose it, we realize how worthy of it we have and need in our life. Broad thing to insist for parents in case they have cramped kids who don’t understand this. Oh yeah, and there’s one hilarious scene when a Snow Dancer is chasing Serena and Rini, and they do the “Look-Out-Behind-You!” trick and when the dancer turns away to gawk what they’re pointing at, both the girls run to transform.(I was cracking up seeing on how comical this share was) .

So, is it worth it to win the dub? I’d say yes because the terrible parts are tolerable, and it will develop you want to observe it over again, and this is the only movie that shows the Holy Grail and the Outer Sailor Scouts’ transformations. Plus, you’ll probably have a few tear-jerkers when you inspect Luna’s predicament; that’s kindly for you emotional people out there.

I am an all time fan of Spongebob and have enjoyed many laughs with it. But this is a mockery of the very name Spongebob! The jokes are poorly written and inspire only minimal laughter. Spongebob has turned from an all around nice guy to an infamous punk! Every time I hear him talk I want to veil my ears and sob. I’ll admit there is some comic but only if you win pointless and ridiculous jokes amusing. Honestly I ragged to have high expectations for Spongebob but since “Where’s Gary” I’ve lost hope altogether in Spongebob. If you want Spongebob I highly recommend seasons 1, 2, and 3 that’s where the true laughs are.

Watching this video,or,more accurately,trying to notice it,has to be one of the worst disappointments I’ve ever encountered on home video. The performances,photography,writing,and direction are absolutely first class. But the manufacturers of the video should be ashamed of themselves for releasing the film in this condition–the soundtrack (at least on this print) has deteriorated horrendously—it has the worst sound of any 1930’s movie I have ever seen.Entire syllables are inaudible; the sound fades in and out like a poor shortwave radio connection.The dreadful quality of the sound has to be heard to be believed,and what’s even worse,the music track seems relatively unaffected-only the dialogue suffers. The box proudly proclaims that the subtitles in this French film have been digitally improved. One wonders why they didn’t pay more attention to the sound. I hope that there are better prints of this 1936 “Mayerling” ( long unseen on television-especially since the 1968 English-language remake) calm around. If not,and if that is one of the reasons it hasn’t turned up on TV,then it is one of the tall tragedies of film preservation.

Mayerling doesn’t deserve this treatment. Boyer (who I’m not a gargantuan fan of) is in his element as the domineering, passionate prince. Darrieux is splendid as his lover. And the director Litvak does a delicate creative job of placing the camera unprejudiced so, whether at an intimate beergarden or the royal opera. But…the transfer to this VHS tape is dreadful. Long sections are out of focus, the whole film is muddy and scratched, and half of the subtitles are below the conceal. A substantial film, but please do not remove the uncomfortable copy offered here.

From the very beginning, Kung Fu Panda had me practically falling out of my seat — laughing. It was the perfect blend of comedy, heart, and action, all notable elements in a successful and substantial animation/CGI film, in the tradition of The Incredibles and (less action, but containing the heart and laughter) Ratatouille, Finding Nemo and Monsters, Inc.

I was laughing, smiling, and guffawing at Po, the main protagonist (voiced by Jack Dim) and his misadventures at becoming a Kung Fu expert. This was certainly a flawed character, one that a lot of people can portray to because he dreams, he’s laughable, and he can laugh at himself. Also, the fable was lovely distinct and easy to follow because the storytelling was well crafted, and the animation was paired well with characters brought vividly to life by some of the most renowned names in Hollywood.

Jack Sad and Dustin Hoffman are downright safe as the main characters, and Ian McShane as the abominable dude gave it the honest unnerved presence. Other grand name stars don’t shine as grand, but that’s because their roles are rather miniature in the film. But that’s unexcited okay because the animators should be given equal credit (if not more) for delivering the laughable, action and heart elements of this movie in an effective, astounding and (I’ve got to employ this) AWESOME manner. Visually, this movie is fair (stare all those scenic shots of the Chinese mountains, bodies of water, and the bridge scene; not to mention the action animation version of “The Matrix” with slow-mo) … simply a delight to look.

It’s obvious that Dreamworks has gotten encourage in the animation game with Kung Fu Panda, after itsy-bitsy ho-hums in Shrek 3 and Bee Movie (call me crazy, but I liked Over The Hedge more than those two) . Hopefully, it should catch well over $500M worldwide because it is so righteous.

This movie rightfully belongs in the top animation movies of all time (okay, let’s not include the classic fairy tales of old; let’s commence with the 90’s onwards), alongside my faves “The Incredibles” “Finding Nemo” and “Beauty & The Beast.” Has the makings of being a classic.

With deep foreboding, I walked into this movie braced for second rate animation (at least compared to Pixar), endless fights between cartoons (as in the CGI “Clone Wars”), and a cultural sensitivity that was either painfully preachy (like “Mulan”) or outright insulting (like “Aladdin”) .

At first, my fear seemed confirmed. Unpleasant Dustin Hoffman mangles Chinese names without mercy – so great so that James Hong, Lucy Liu and Jackie Chan have to deliberately mispronounce stuff impartial to match what he says.

But once the movie got rolling, I found myself grinning from ear to ear in sheer delight. Yes, it’s accurate, Dreamworks can’t compete with Pixar’s technology, but they manufacture up for it with magnificent graphic earn, sheer wit and – of course – those hilariously quivering “Scrat Eyes”. What’s more, the animators somehow manage to obtain Kung Fu battles between cartoons both curious and delectable – every bit the match of live action fights (which nowadays are nothing more than CGI with faces pasted on) .

However, the most much thing about this film is how faithful it is to Chinese culture – family dynamics, Buddhist philosophy, values, and even martial arts – this film simply HAS to have been written by Chinese. There is never a moment where it strains to “rep points” with political correctness. Its characters are never tediously gracious “anti-stereotypes”, but are instead lovingly depicted with all their flaws intact while uniquely Chinese messages are delicately hidden within a spot crammed with excitement and laughter. Here you experience how parental care for turns into suffocating pressure, here you watch teenage rebellion as a monstrosity rather than a virtue, here you gawk the quirky characters of a city (complete with that wobbly “shuffle foot” flow), here you hear the wisdom of Zen detachment, and here you experience the sacred relationship between student and teacher.

Perhaps my plan is biased by the surprise this movie gave to my coarse expectations, but I can’t benefit but ogle this film as an unappreciated but precious gem. Now if only someone could do the same thing with Islamic culture…!

“The St. Valentine’s Day Massacre” is the kind of film that needs to be popular on its beget terms. Fred Steiner’s jangling, dissonant accumulate deserves a mention. It has a Charleston-like rhythm, dominated by a piano. It’s an oddly effective thing, heard to best carry out over the slay title.

Among the cast, no one turns in what could be called a incandescent performance, but Ralph Meeker probably comes off best as Bugs Moran, particularly as he utters the crime boss’ most famed quote, approach the raze. Jean Hale definitely got my attention as Segal’s girlfriend, and Clint Richie is appropriately sly as Machine Gun Jack McGurn, who masterminded the title killings.

I found the movie scrumptious even though Jason Robards hardly resembles Al Capone. The movie has Al Capone slitting the throat of rival Joe Aiello on a mumble as he attempted to leave Chicago before the Massacre was even planned. However, Joe Aiello died from a hail of bullets on October 23, 1930, as he left an apartment building, more than a year after the Massacre took space. This would have been an easy fact to substantiate, yet the film contains this unnecessary error. The movie also has Albert Anselmi and John Scalise murdered by Capone with a baseball bat in “Capone’s mansion” following a banquet honoring them. The killings actually took site in a Hammond, Indiana, road house. In addition, Joe Guinta was a third one clubbed to death at that time. Finally the movie includes Boris Chapman and Adolph Moeller as two who took piece in the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre. That may or may not be, but no mention is made of Fred “Killer” Burke who it is widely believed to be one who definitely took share in the killings. The movie was very attractive and worthwhile, but the inaccuracies that I have mentioned could certainly have been easily checked out.

Anyway onto the review

As several of the reveiws mention this one is a position opera(soap opera/drama in dwelling) . Crew of this modern ship head for some where, attach a girl, secure an broken-down status ship frozen in ice and then go off to the assist side of nowhere(which is probably glowing desolate in location) They get the origin of all inteligent life, fight this broad thing, and it ends with no valid concluding events taking status. Typical unhurried 80’s/early 90’s ending. The bigges flaw is that this region is more satisfactory to a longer format like a multi episode OVA that could delve deeper into the themes. If you want to accept into the titles of the slow 80’s i recomend this one along with Project A-ko, Gall Force. Odin isnt ground breaking, but its not a unpleasant one for an rush from novel cliches in anime.

This is a Disney film based on Sheila Burford’s book __The Incredible Journey__, about three household pets (specifically a bulldog named Chance, a Himalayan cat named Sassy, and a golden retriever named Shadow) who run away from a faraway ranch in order to find their way back to their home in San Francisco. Meanwhile, the owners (specifically 3 kids: a little brother named Jamie, a big brother named Peter, and a sister in the middle named Hope) call a search-and-rescue while at the same time trying to cope with a stepfather. As you may expect, this film eventually comes to a happy ending where everyone is reunited and all is well.

Now, I’m 15 years old and I have loved this film ever since I saw it in the theater at the age of 6. I had many reasons why I loved it at the time–I thought it was funny, I thought it was exciting, and the ending made me cry (hey, don’t snicker, I was six years old back then). But now I have a reason why this film has stood the test of time against much flashier and less “cute” movies that I see nowadays, and that’s simply because…well, because it’s really a good movie!

Don’t understand? Well, this film is so much more than just a movie with talking (sort of) animals that go on a journey in order to entertain little 6-year-olds. The pets aren’t just animals; they exude the human personalities of their owners! Chance, owned by Jamie, is a mischievious pup who’s always sticking his nose where it doesn’t belong. Shadow, owned by Peter, is a wise old golden retriever who’s always trying to keep Chance out of trouble. And Sassy, owned by Hope, is a fickle cat who always acts like she’s sick of being stuck with her “brothers”, if you know what I mean.

And then there’s the fact that even though the pets start out acting like siblings who drive each other crazy, they wind up going through thick and thin and actually realizing that they really love each other. Also, this film also has a subplot that turns out happy too; Peter, Hope, and Jamie finally learn to love their stepfather and actually call him “Dad”. When the pets are back home in the end (face it, you KNEW it was going to happen) and they see the happy faces of their ecstatic owners, and EVERYONE is actually LOVING each other like a REAL family, Chance thinks with pride, “For the first time in my life, I was HOME.” Never before have I heard such a profound statement in a Disney movie.

Any idiot can entertain a 6-year-old by making him laugh, cry, and be excited. However, it takes the work of a genius to entertain a 6-year-old with a work that he will even love nine years later. See this film NOW!

P.S. Don’t see the sequel–it’s completely insipid, and the pets have totally lost their human personalities in it.

Homeward Bound is the homely remake of the Incredible Journey, a tale of pet’s going to extremes to find their family. Michael J. Fox lends his voice talents as Chance, the most recent pet addition to the family. Chance is also the narrator of the film, which adds to the overall good nature. The movie is humorous and an overall fun family film. However, the movie is about the struggle to maintain pet-owner love, so the movie is not all laughs and giggles. This DVD is a must for all Sonic fans. It all starts after Chaos is defeated. Sonic’s helping to desirable up. Eggman, however, finds his grandfather’s journal and learns about an ultimate life obtain named Shadow. Eggman goes to free Shadow, but is troubled when he thinks it’s Sonic! Shadow agrees to relieve Eggman. Sonic is blamed for Shadow’s crimes and is arrested and sent to Prison Island. While there, Rouge and Shadow approach to find the Chaos Emeralds. After Sonic gets out, he confronts Shadow – and learns that the island’s going to blow up! Plus, to design matters worse, Chris is missing and Rouge is trapped! Sonic and the others are forced to leave. Thankfully, Shadow saves Rouge and Chris, taking them to Plot Colony ARK. Sonic has to cover from G.U.N., and Knuckles finds Eggman’s secret tainted! Then, Eggman uses the Eclipse cannon on ARK to blow up half the moon! Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, Amy, and Mr. Tanaka race to ARK, and they earn Chris and Shadow. Chris is ok, but Eggman takes the final chaos emerald – and activates a demolish course that’ll extinguish Earth! Chris talks Shadow into helping Sonic conclude ARK. While Sonic and Knuckles deactivate the emeralds, Shadow fights the Biolizard. Then, the Biolizard fuses to ARK and makes it continue on its fracture course! Sonic and Shadow go neat to defeat the Biolizard and send ARK support into orbit. Though Shadow’s fate is unknown, he doesn’t form it attend…

This DVD was a loyal tearjerker and really pulled on some heartstrings. I absolutely loved it, from inaugurate to effect. Sonic’s last line was especially memorable: “Syanora, Shadow the Hedgehog.”

Sonic X is the newest enchanting series of our current blue anthropomorphic hedgehog, and the first one from Japan (If you don’t count the movie) That’s legal! An anime! If anyone cares, it’s dubbed by 4Kids, but they actually did a stunning friendly job, unlike what happened to One Allotment.

Sonic X’s myth is a bit different; In the first episode Sonic and the gang are on their world (Unnamed, but I call it Mobius like in the comics), and trying to rescue Cream the Rabbit from Eggman, who has also stolen a Chaos Emerald. When Sonic tricks Eggman’s robots into firing at the power control at Eggman’s wrong, the Emerald causes Chaos Control which sends the crew to a parallel universe: Earth! Sonic meets up with local kid Chris Thorndyke and must lay shameful while trying to come by his friends! However, after saving the day from Eggman multiple times, it becomes quite clear to the people of State Square that these human-like animals are around, and they welcome the heroes with originate arms.

Volume 8, Project: Shadow, is Sonic X’s adaptation of Sonic Adventure 2 (And the Gamecube remake: Sonic Adventure 2 Battle) . It contains Episodes 33 to 38, the entire Shadow Arc.

After the defeat of Perfect Chaos, Eggman hacks into GUN’s computers, and finds the diary of his grandfather, Gerald Robotnik. (Revelaing that Eggman is from Earth and not Sonic’s World) Afterwards, he breaks into the deplorable at Prison Island and releases his grandfather’s greatest weapon, Project: Shadow! However, it turns out that Shadow is not a weapon, but an artificial hedgehog with the ability to employ Chaos Control! After teaming up, Shadow steals the green Chaos Emerald from Capital City, and the media bear it was Sonic. (How they could msitake the two in astronomical aylight, I don’t know. If it was night, I’d forgive them, but it wasn’t) GUN captures our well-liked hero, but he breaks out and escapes through Capital City, where he meets Shadow. Interrupted by GUN and once again arrsted, Sonic is taken to Prison Island. At this point in time, Eggman attempts to choose the Master Emerald once again, but Knuckles shatters it, preventing him from doing so. It’s thwe Chaos Arc all over again as Knuckles hunts the pieces down!

Later, Shadow has led Eggman to the Location Colony ARK, and begins to interpret the weapon pwoered by Chaos Emeralds: The Eclipse Cannon. With all the Emeralds, it could wipe out a whole planet! Rouge the Bat overhears and teams up with the two to collect the two Emeralds on Prison Island. Unfortunately, Amy and Tails are also on the island, brekaing SOnic out. Afterwards, Shadow fights SOnic but leaves as a bomb he situation goes off, and the heroes barely speed! Chasing down Eggman to his disagreeable, the group inaugurate into state and the ARK, where the final showdown is held!

Knuckles gets the Master Emerald fixed as Sonic ifs launched into state to be left drifting alone as he dies a painless death. But all is not lost! Using a spurious Emerald that tails made, Sonic Chaos Controls his procedure to safety and destroys the Cannon! In a final race/fight Sonic and Shadow decide their differences upon realising the ARK is falling to earth! It’s a bustle against time, they have exactly 24 minutes to attach humanity! Can they design it to the core and shut off the ARK, or will the mysterious Bio Lizard cessation their progress? Salvage out as they try to end the…Final Hazard!
